Delhi to report 20,000 plus COVID cases today, says Health Minister Satyandar Jain
Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said that the national capital is expected to add 20,000 plus cases to its COVID tally. He added that the Delhi government is all prepared with the facilities at the hospitals. However, according to the Indian Statistical Institute model, the national capital might see 70,000 daily cases with 100% susceptibility at its peak around mid-January. After mid-February, the curve will flatten in this scenario. With a 30% susceptibility rate, Delhi might see over 20,000 cases every day. The curve will flatten in the first week of February if this occurs.
