Delhi Police detain BJP MP Tejasvi Surya during protest against Kejriwal's The Kashmir Files remark
Tejasvi Surya, the BJP Yuva Morcha National President and a Bangaluru MP, was arrested by Delhi police on Wednesday for demonstrating outside Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence. Surya was protesting against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's comments on 'The Kashmir Files' in the Delhi Legislative Assembly last week, along with BJP youth wing volunteers. In response to demands that the film is made tax-free in Delhi, Kejriwal remarked that the film's director, Vivek Agnihotri, should post the video on YouTube. The police, however, used barricades to stop the protest march after only 50 metres.
