After Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced his resignation, a political upheaval has ensued in Delhi. Social activist Anna Hazare has also weighed in on Kejriwal's decision, expressing his prior warnings against entering politics. Hazare remarked, "I had advised Kejriwal not to enter politics, but to focus on social service instead. We spent many years together, and I repeatedly urged him to stay away from politics. Social service brings joy and fulfillment, but he chose otherwise, and now the consequences are evident. I can’t know what’s in his heart."

Kejriwal announced that he would resign from his position in two days and demand early elections in Delhi. He stated he would not resume his role until he receives a certificate of honesty from the public.
