Delhi News: 499 Live Cartridges Found on Abandoned Bike, Police Probe Possible Major Conspiracy
In a recent alarming incident in Delhi's Moti Nagar area, a significant case has emerged that has left the Delhi police on high alert. The Western District police and Special Cell have been tasked with investigating whether there is a potential major conspiracy behind this case. On the night of September 7, during routine traffic checks at a red light in Moti Nagar, traffic police stopped a motorcycle rider for inspection. The rider abandoned the motorcycle and fled the scene. Suspicious of the situation, the traffic police informed the Moti Nagar police station. Upon inspection, the Moti Nagar police discovered a bag on the motorcycle containing 499 live cartridges packed in approximately ten boxes. Further investigation revealed that the motorcycle was stolen. This discovery has caused concern among the Delhi police, who are now investigating whether the cartridges were part of a larger plot. This incident comes amid rising extortion cases in Delhi, where gangsters imprisoned in jails continue to orchestrate extortion and violence through their associates. Police are exploring all angles, including the possibility that recent shooting incidents, such as the one outside a nightclub in East Delhi’s Seemapuri, are linked to extortion activities.
