Delhi: First heavy downpour of season exposes administration's preparations
Delhi's Anna Nagar slum is barely a few km away from the ITO intersection. Due to incessant rain, the 'naala' flowing through the area saw an unexpected increase in the volume of water which led to the current cutting through the soil in the area. Hence, the ground weakened and many huts collapsed and washed away. The locals are shocked and deserted. They are panicking as to where will they stay amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
