Cyclone Nisarga: After Maharashtra, Gujarat braces for impact | Matrabhumi
Cyclone Nisarga, which made landfall near Alibaug at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, has now crossed the state of Maharashtra. The cyclone is now on its way to Gujarat.
Earlier, strong winds touching the speed of 110-120 kmph and torrential rain were witnessed across Maharashtra with Raigad, Alibaugh, Ratnagiri and Mumbai facing the worst of it. Vehicles parked on the roadside and several asbestos sheets were blown away by strong winds.
