Covid +ve Azam Khan shifted to Lucknow hospital from Sitapur jail

Coronavirus positive Azam Khan has been shifted to Lucknow hospital from Sitapur jail. He is on oxygen support right now. 

Jailed Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Azam Khan and his son Abdullah Azam Khan tested positive for Covid-19. The RT-PCR reports of 13 inmates, including Azam Khan, lodged in Sitapur jail, came out positive for the infection. 

According to the jail administration, Azam Khan had observed 14 'fasts' (roza) after which he complained of having contracted the infection.
