Center signs peace pact with 6 Karbi Anglong rebel groups in HM Shah's presence
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday announced that the Centre will sign a peace pact with six Karbi Anglong rebel groups later in the day. Shah made the remarks while addressing the 51st Foundation Day of the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D).
The pact has been signed in the presence of the Union Home Minister, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, and leaders of the six outfits.
