Breaking the stereotypes, AAP hosts Bhagwant Mann's oath Ceremony at Shaheed Bhagat Singh's village

On Wednesday, March 16, Bhagwant Mann, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), was sworn in as Punjab's 17th Chief Minister in Khatkar Kalan, the ancestral village of freedom warrior Bhagat Singh. He is the state's first non-Akali, non-Congress chief executive. Governor Banwarilal Purohit administered Mann's oath of office and secrecy in front of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and other senior AAP leaders. With an estimated 3 lakh persons in attendance, the enormous swearing-in ceremony drew audiences from all around the state. Watch the video.
