Elections 2024: Campaigning for 1st Phase of Jharkhand Election Ends Today | ABP News

The election campaign for the first phase of the 2024 Jharkhand Assembly elections will end today for 43 constituencies. Voting will take place on November 13 from 7 AM to 5 PM, with some booths closing earlier at 4 PM. A total of 683 candidates are contesting, including 334 independents and 87 from national parties. Prominent candidates include former CM Champai Soren and several current ministers. The phase includes 6 SC and 20 ST reserved seats, with a high number of women and independent candidates in the race. Among the 683 candidates, many are independents, with a strong representation from women and national parties. The elections will play a critical role in shaping the state's political landscape.
