Breaking News: Truck Submerged As Water Logging Reaches Its Peak In Tonk, Rajasthan | ABP News
There was water in Tonk district of Rajasthan due to heavy rains. Due to heavy rains the situation has worsened at many places in the district. Due to heavy rains, the government school at Soda Stepwell is flooded. Efforts are being made to drain the water with the help of school management and villagers. Water is being drained from the tractor fan. The roof of the government school building in Atalikpura, Bagadwa of Dodwadi started leaking like a waterfall. Records in the school rooms also got wet due to dripping water. As a precaution, students were dismissed. Continuous heavy rains are continuing in Tonk district. Kashipura culvert of Piplu and Nathdi Bhopata drain also came in spate. The connection to Piplu from State Highway 117 was cut off. The only option to reach Piplu is to travel by road from Darda, Turkey. That too can stop at any time. Masi River Rapta on Bagri Road may also come in spate soon. About 9 feet of water inflow occurred in Haripura Dam of Piplu, Tonk, which has a filling capacity of 14 feet. Water arrived in the last 24 hours. The administration issued an alert to the villagers of low-lying areas. Haripura Dam is situated in Sandera Panchayat of Piplu subdivision.
