Breaking News: JCO And 4 Soldiers Martyred In tank Exercise In Ladakh | ABP News
Five troops were killed in a T-72 tank mishap close to the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Mandir Morh, including a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO). Saturday at around three in the morning, according to sources who spoke with ABP Live. The troops' bodies have been located and collected. An inquiry into the occurrence has been started. During a training operation in the Daulat Beg Oldie region of Ladakh, the T-72 tank was across a river. The soldiers were washed away as a flash flood caught the tank. Leh is about 148 kilometers away from the region. As per the news reports, a cloudburst in the upper altitudes of Ladakh caused the flash flood.
