BJP MP Manoj Tiwari Targets Kejriwal Over AAP's New Schemes Amid Delhi Elections
Ahead of the Delhi elections, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor Arvind Kejriwal launched two significant welfare schemes—Mahila Samman Yojana and Sanjeevani Yojana. Under the Mahila Samman Yojana, the AAP government promises to provide ₹2,100 per month to every woman in Delhi, while the Sanjeevani Yojana aims to offer free healthcare to senior citizens above 60 years of age. However, as registrations for both schemes began, concerns were raised about the authenticity of these initiatives. BJP MP Manoj Tiwari took a dig at Kejriwal, questioning the legitimacy of these schemes, especially after Delhi's Women and Child Development Department raised doubts. This has sparked a political debate, with the BJP accusing the AAP of using welfare schemes as a tool for electoral gains. The controversy has intensified as Delhi prepares for its upcoming elections.
