BJP blames Rahul Gandhi for communal clashes on Ram Navami | Bharat Ki Baat
The BJP accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of questioning the existence of Lord Ram on Monday, alleging that his "petty politics" and "inciting" remarks, as well as those of Congress leader and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, played a role in the recent violence in several states during Ram Navami processions. In a press conference, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra referred to Gandhi as a "chunavi Hindu" (a Hindu who pretends to be one for electoral purposes) and accused him of pretending to be one.
