Bihar Lok Sabha Polls: Less Voting Turnout In Bihar Compared To 2019, Political Tension Intensifies
Till 6:00 pm, 48.23 percent voting took place in four Lok Sabha seats of Bihar. There was 50 percent voting in Aurangabad, 52 percent in Gaya, 41.50 percent in Nawada and 50 percent in Jamui. This time the turnout has been less as compared to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. In 2019, 53.47 percent voting took place in these four Lok Sabha constituencies. There was 53.63 percent voting in Aurangabad, 56.16 in Gaya, 49.33 in Nawada and 55.21 percent in Jamui. This time the vote percentage has decreased by about five percent as compared to 2019.
