Barricades, heavy police presence and Kisan Mahapanchayat: Ground Report

The farmers will be holding a Kisan Mahapanchayat today in Haryana's Karnal. This mahapanchayat is being held as a protest against the lathicharge that took place on August 28.  The government has prepared for the protest well in advance. This is why Section 144 has been imposed whereas internet services have been cut-off in five districts.
