Bangladesh Violence: 'The people do not forgive a dictator,' Says Sanjay Raut | ABP News

Sanjay Raut recently commented on the violence in Bangladesh, stating, "The people do not forgive a dictator." This remark refers to the recent unrest and the political turmoil in Bangladesh, highlighting concerns about Sheikh Hasina's leadership and the public's response to her government. On Tuesday, the central government convened an all-party meeting to discuss the current situation in Bangladesh. During the meeting, the central government provided information about its stance on Bangladesh and Sheikh Hasina. The opposition also expressed agreement with the government's position. Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha who was present at the meeting, raised questions to the central government. According to sources, Rahul Gandhi inquired about both the immediate and long-term strategies concerning the situation. He also asked if there was any foreign involvement behind the recent events in Bangladesh. Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar addressed the meeting on behalf of the government, stating that the government is closely monitoring the evolving situation in Bangladesh. He also mentioned that a Pakistani diplomat had posted a profile picture related to the movement on social media, which is currently under investigation.
