Bangladesh: PM Modi signs visitors book, plants sapling at Bangbandhu Museum
Prime Minister Narendra Modi began Day 2 of his visit to Bangladesh with a trip to the Shaktira Jeshoreshwari temple, around 300 kilometres from Dhaka. It has been redecorated specifically for the occasion. He is in the country to celebrate the golden jubilee of the nation's independence and the birth centenary of 'Bangabandhu' Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, its founder.
He signed visitors book and planted sapling at the museum.
Visiting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday offered prayers at the Jeshoreshwari temple dedicated to Goddess Kali in Bangladesh's Satkhira district.
