Bangladesh Makes Major Demand From India Concerning Sheikh Hasina | ABP News

Bangladesh is currently facing severe turmoil, with ongoing violence and political instability. After Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned and left the country, the Bangladeshi Army has taken control. The situation remains highly militarized, with Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman announcing that an interim government will be established. Nobel prize winner Mohammad Yunus has been appointed as the interim prime minister.

On Monday, President Mohammad Shahabuddin confirmed the acceptance of Sheikh Hasina's resignation and ordered the release of former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, who had been under house arrest following multiple convictions.
