Audio Bulletin: Coronavirus cases reach 5274, death toll at 149

As the Coronavirus cases surge past 5,200-mark with 149 deaths, PM Narendra Modi on Wednesday hinted at a possible extension of nationwide lockdown beyond April 14 to contain the further spread, during an all-party meeting via video conferencing.

Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has decided to completely seal 15 districts that have emerged as coronavirus hotspots, from Wednesday midnight till April 15. The districts to be sealed are Lucknow, Noida, Ghaziabad, Sitapur, Kanpur, Agra, Ferozabad, Bareilly, Meerut, Shamli, Saharanpur, Bulandshahr, Varanasi, Maharajganj and Basti.
