Assam Floods wreck havoc at New Haflong Railway Station | ABP News Ground Report
The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for the north-eastern states. Due to incessant rains and floods in Assam for the past few days, lakhs of people have been affected. At the same time, the situation remains bad in parts of neighboring states of Tripura, Mizoram and Manipur.
The flood situation in Assam worsened on Thursday and another person died due to this. 27 districts of the state and about 7.18 lakh people living here have been affected by the floods. According to the daily flood report of the Assam State Disaster Management Authority, one person died due to drowning in Kampur revenue area of Nagaon district. Apart from this, two more people are missing in Kampur.
