Another loss to Music Industry, Bappi Lahiri dies in Mumbai Hospital

Days after legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar died, Bappi Lahri, a music composer and Bollywood singer who popularised disco in India during the 1980s and 1990s, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 69. On Monday, Lahiri, who had been in the hospital for a month, was discharged. On Tuesday night, however, his condition began to deteriorate, and he was shifted to Mumbai Hospital.
