The decision regarding who will contest the elections from where has been taken only after much deliberation. Let us tell you that there are 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra. BJP is going to contest elections on 28 seats in the NDA led Mahayuti alliance. Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) will contest on 14 seats, NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) on five seats and Rashtriya Samaj Party on one seat.
