Amit Shah visits UP town that witnessed 'Hindu Migration' in 2014
On Saturday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited western Uttar Pradesh for the first time. He began his tour to Kairana by visiting the Teacher's Colony, where he interacted with residents as part of the BJP's public outreach campaign. The former National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Shah, would later pay a visit to Sadhu Sweets, a 70-year-old business in Kairana's Mohalla Gumbad. He will also meet the owner of the sweets business, Rakesh Garg, who had to migrate from Kairana with his family in 2014 due to miscreants, and then he will meet numerous other families who had also migrated from Kairana.
