Amid political turmoil, Oli uses 'Rama' to deflect the issue
Amid a crisis of his own making, Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli made a controversial statement that Lord Rama was born in Nepal and not in India. After he received sever backlash over this claim, his foreign ministry at first issued a statement trying to clean up his act. Now, Oli has ordered a survey in Birganj area and ask his archaeological department to find proof for his claims.
