Amid boycott China protests, Railways cancels tender of Chinese firm

Amid widespread protest across the nation with respect to China and Chinese products, the government also seems to be taking steps that are bound to hurt the Himalayan neighbour economically. After announcing that BSNL will not be using Chinese components for upgradation of 4G technology, now Indian Railways has cancelled a tender worth over Rs 400 crore which was allocated to a Chinese firm.
