Ambedkar Jayanti 2022: BSP supremo Mayawati pays homage to Babashaeb

Today is Ambedkar Jayanti, a national holiday honouring the birth of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, a significant architect of the Indian Constitution. On April 14, 1891, the Indian jurist, politician, philosopher, economist, and historian was born. Dr. Ambedkar was a vocal opponent of the Indian caste system and is credited with introducing a number of reforms to help marginalised groups.
