ABP Results: AAP takes lead in early trends
As the counting of postal ballots began on Tuesday morning for the high-stake Delhi Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party took a good lead, leaving behind the BJP, while Congress struggled to open its account.
Exit polls have predicted a big win for the ruling Aam Aadmi Party, but the Bharatiya Janata Party leaders maintained that the surveys would fall flat.
The Election Commission on Sunday announced that the final voter turnout was 62.59 per cent, five per cent less than 2015. Counting of votes for 70 seats of the Delhi Assembly began amid tight security at 8 am today.
