78th Independence Day: PM Modi Greets NCC/NSS Cadets After Red Fort Speech | ABP News

Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered his 11th Independence Day speech on Thursday, lasting 98 minutes. He addressed various issues, including atrocities against women, natural calamities, and defense. Quoting slogans like "Sarfaroshi ki Tamanna ab hamare dil mein hai, dekhna hai zor kitna, baju-e-qatil mein hai," he honoured the brave sons of Mother India who fought and sacrificed their lives for freedom. It was through these sacrifices that India gained independence from British rule on August 15, 1947. Speaking from the Red Fort on India's 78th Independence Day, PM Modi acknowledged that the dreams of the people remained unfulfilled. He emphasized that the government chose reforms not for applause but to strengthen the nation.
