17 foreign Tablighi Jamaat attendees jailed in Bihar for flouting visa norms
17 foreigners from Kyrgystan have been jailed in Bihar after Patna police lodged FIR against them for violating the norms and rules of tourist visa. All the Kyrgystan nationals had attended the Tablighi Jamaat event that took place in Delhi's Nizamuddin Markaz.
The passports of these foreigners have been detained by police after the attendees were found roaming around in Digha and Phulwarisharif area on March 23. They were then quarantined but their Coronavirus reports were negative
