Gujarat News: Stampede-like situation in Bharuch district, hundreds of job seekers create chaos
A walk-in interview organised by a Chemical firm in Gujarat led to a stampede-like situation as hundreds of people tried entering a building purportedly for the job interview.
The chaotic situation unfolded reportedly after over 1,000 job seekers gathered at the premises of a hotel in Gujarat's Bharuch district to appear for a walk-in interview for 42 positions offered by a company.
A video has emerged showing hundreds of people waiting in queue with copies of their resumes in hand and then clamouring to get in through the gate.
However, the situation soon turned into chaos as people started falling off the railing. While some people jumped to the ground beneath, several others could be seen falling off the platform.
