DRDO scientists Anant Narayan Bhatt & Sudhir Chandna talk about developed anti-covid medicine
DRDO's anti-covid drug '2-deoxy-D-glucose' has recently been approved by DCGI for emergency use. Clinical tests have shown that this drug helps in rapid recovery of hospitalized patients and reduces dependence on oxygen delivery from outside. RT-PCR negative conversion has been observed in high doses of Kovid patients treated with 2-DG. This medicine will be very beneficial for those suffering from Covid.
