Delhi HC dismisses plea to halt Central Vista Project; imposes Rs 1 Lakh fine on petitioner

Delhi High Court has refused to ban the construction work of the Central Government's ambitious project Central Vista. The court has also imposed a fine of one lakh rupees on the petitioner. The High Court has said that the workers involved in the construction work were staying at the same place, so there is no justification to stop the construction. Nor was any such thing said in the April 19 order of DDMA.
