CBI conducts raid at former Maharashtra HM Anil Deshmukh's residence in Nagpur

CBI has registered an FIR in the alleged bribery case against former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. At present, the CBI is conducting raid at Anil Deshmukh's residence in Nagpur. Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh had demanded a CBI inquiry from the High Court by accusing Anil Deshmukh of 'Wasooli'. After which the CBI inquiry was ordered by the High Court on April 5 in this case.
