Increasing cases of black fungus (mucoramycosis) among the second wave of corona in the country have raised concerns. In many states, people have died due to this. In such a situation, many states have declared it an epidemic. Black fungus is a fungal disease that can spread to the brain through teeth, eyes, nose, mouth. Also, patients of corona suffering from diabetes and other diseases are at highest risk of getting infected with black fungus.
