Bijapur gunfight: 22 security personnel martyred

The Bijapur gunfight operation continued for more than nine hours and additional security forces had to be rushed to the spot to support the personnel engaged in the exchange of fire. The Chief Minister has directed to provide better treatment facilities to the injured. The security personnel were travelling as part of an anti-Maoist operation.
