Bhupen Hazarika's political connection & Assam Polls: All about it

Assembly elections are to be held in five states including Assam and West Bengal in April-May this year. In Assam, BJP is trying to return to power. Bhupen Hazarika was a versatile lyricist, composer and singer from the northeastern state of Assam. Apart from this, he was also an Assamese language poet, filmmaker, writer and well-versed in the culture and music of Assam.
