The agitating farmers celebrated Independence Day at the Singhu Border. These farmers have been protesting against the farm laws for several months. The farmers are demanding that the Modi Government take back the agrarian laws which they believe are not in their favour. However, the government is not ready to accept this demand of the farmers as it maintains that the laws are beneficial for them.
