Narendra Singh Tomar will now be the new agriculture minister of the country. In Modi 2.0 Cabinet, Amit Shah has been appointed as the Home Minister. Rajnath Singh will now take over the Defence Ministry and Nitin Gadkari will be Minister of Road Transport and Highways. Smriti Irani will take charge as Minister for Women and Child Development. S Jaishankar to be new External Affairs minister. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will retain DoPT, Atomic Energy as well as all important policy issues and portfolios not allocated.
