Sensational fifties from Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers outshined Chris Gayle's unbeaten 99 as Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) registered the first victory in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).  They beat Kings XI Punjab (IPL) by 8 wickets to end their losing streak in the tournament.
