JDU MLA quits party over 'land mafia' complaints
Unhappy with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s rule, JDU MLA Shyam Bahadur Singh has offered his resignation to state party Chief Vashishtha Narayan Singh. Shyam Bahadur, who went to tender his resignation at Narayna Singh’s residence, couldn’t meet him as he was not at home. MLA Bahadur Singh is alleging that the locked sugar mill land in their area is being sold by land mafia. Also, the poor people who are raising their voice against this mafia are being prosecuted.
