Jagannath Rath Yatra 2018: PM Modi wishes country scales new heights of growth
PM Narendra Modi today sent his greetings to the country as Rath Yatra begins in Ahemdabad. He said, "With the blessings of Lord Jagannath, may our country scale new heights of growth. May every Indian be happy and prosperous."
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah attended 'Mangal Arti' at Jagannath temple in Ahemdabad today.
Shah, who is in Gujarat for a one-day visit will also take part in various events in the vicinity of the city.
Later, he is scheduled to address a youth parliament in a university in Gandhinagar.
The nine-day annual festival of Jagannath Rath Yatra began today.
