India's befitting reply to America on S-400 deal

Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo held an extensive bilateral meeting at the national capital on Wednesday and discussed several issues which affect the ties between the two countries. The External Affairs Minister conveyed to the US that India will go by its national interest while dealing with other countries, including with sanctions-hit Russia from whom New Delhi is procuring S 400 missile defence systems.

Jaishankar also said that it is natural for the two nations to have trade differences and they will mutually try to address them effectively.
