Can The Shape Of The Belly Indicate The Baby’s Gender? Pregnancy Myths Revealed | Health Live

During pregnancy, doctors use ultrasound to determine the baby's gender, but in India, it is illegal to disclose this information before birth. Therefore, parents typically find out the baby's gender only after delivery. Despite this restriction, various old wives' tales and myths about predicting the baby's gender based on the shape of the mother's belly persist. Some believe that a rounded belly suggests a girl, while a more pointed belly indicates a boy. These theories, however, lack scientific evidence and should be taken with caution. Instead, the only reliable method to know the baby's gender is through medical procedures like ultrasound, which are conducted under strict legal guidelines. Until birth, these myths remain just speculative guesses.
