Clashes between 2 groups in Meerut village leave 1 Dalit youth dead

Violence erupted in Uldepur village in Meerut on Wednesday night when two groups gathered to watch ‘kanwar- procession’ fought among them

The clashes took place between Thakurs and Dalits, claimed the life of a Dalit youth and left 8 injured

Police station from various branches reached at the spot, RAF has also been deployed in the village

Cops have arrested 4 people so far in the case

The villagers were protesting with the dead body of the victim and weren’t letting police take it for post-mortem

1 policeman was seen weeping while consoling the family of the deceased
