The stock market opened with gains today, and it is expected to be a very active day. Several major companies are set to announce their quarterly results. The Bank Nifty is observed at the level of 51,900. The mid-cap index is up by about half a percent. Due to a sharp decline of 7-7.50 percent in Bajaj Auto shares, the auto index has fallen by more than 3 percent. L&T shares also saw significant gains, and Emphasis shares surged over 4 percent and continue to show an upward trend. The BSE Sensex opened at 81,758, up by 256.71 points or 0.31 percent, but within 10 minutes of the market opening, it slipped below this upper level. Initially, the Nifty opened at 25,027, up by 56.10 points or 0.22 percent, but after 10 minutes, it fell into the red and dropped below 25,000. Currently, the Nifty is seen at the level of 24,940. As of 9:44 AM, only 7 out of 30 shares in the BSE Sensex were trading positively, while 23 shares were experiencing gains.
