Lifeline for mutual funds announced, RBI gives Rs 50,000 crore
Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced special liquidity facility for Mutual Funds in order to ease the liquidity pressure. A sum of Rs 50,000 crore has been announced by RBI. The announcement led to a steep rise in the Indian stock markets, Sensex was up by more than 700 points.
