The agitation of farmers against agricultural laws has been going on for 16 days now. Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has spoken of ending the movement and adopting a path of dialogue. Farmers have shown that big governments can bow down as well. This is a good sign for democracy. The peasant movement has made it clear that politics of "me and mine" will not work, governments will now have to listen to everyone.
