Lata Mangeshkar left for heavenly abode leaving nation teary-eyed | Sansani (6 Feb 2022)

On Sunday Morning, the Bharat Ratna awardee Lata Mangeshkar died at Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital at 8:12 a.m. after suffering from multiple organ failure. In early January of this year, she was hospitalised at Mumbai's Breach Candy hospital after testing positive for Covid-19 and being diagnosed with pneumonia. Lata Mangeshkar, the legendary singer, was cremated with full state honours on Sunday evening in Mumbai's historic Shivaji Park, bringing an end to an illustrious and decorated career that spanned seven decades.
