Among the accused arrested by the NIA, Santosh Shelar is said to be close to former encounter specialist Pradeep Sharma. The NIA has now started investigating from this angle whether Sharma was aware of this murder or not. NIA is questioning Pradeep Sharma on the basis of information received from two recently arrested accused Santosh Atmaram Shelar and Anand Pandurang Jadhav.
